This year (2003) I started using Fischer's Bee-Quick with excellent results. No more Bee-Go for this Beekeep. Bee-Quick has an almost intoxicating Amaretto scent and has absolutely no breathtaking and eye watering fumes like bee go. Bee Quick works better if it is misted onto the fume board. I use a regular spray bottle. Just spray a light mist over the whole cloth and put it on. It of course works better when the board is used on a sunny day versus cloudy but it is still effective. Medium and shallow supers clear easily. 9 5/8 Boxes take a little extra smoke under the fume board. The bees tend to hang onto the bottom bars on cloudy days.
