Sweet Rolls

1 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup shortening
1 cake compressed yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm water
2 eggs
5 cups all-purpose flour
Scald milk. Add Honey, shortening and salt. Soften yeast in lukewarm water and add to milk mixture. Add beaten eggs and half the flour. Beat well. Butter hands and knead on a lightly floured board until smooth. Place in a slightly greased bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85-90) until light and doubled in size (1-1 1/2 hours). Punch down and form into rolls. Let rise again about 1 hour. bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
