| Prepare, cook, drain and slice fresh beets into 1/4"
slices. If canned, sliced beets are used. Drain well. In
a saucepan, combine fruit juices, vinegar, honey, corn starch and
seasonings. Stir until smooth. Bring to a boil, stirring;
continue cooking until sauce is thick and clear. Add beets, butter
and fruit peel. Heat to serving temperature. Serves 6. |
