Lebukuchen

4 eggs
1 1/2 cups dark honey
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup finely chopped citron
2 cups flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
icing
Beat eggs until frothy; beat in honey and sugar until well blended. Add walnuts and citron; mix well. Combine flour, spices and baking powder; mix well. Add flour mixture to honey mixture; mix until blended. Spoon batter into generously greased 17x11x1 inch pan; spread evenly in pan. Bake at 350 deg. F 15 to 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Spread with icing while still warm, Cut into 2-inch squares.

Icing: To 2 cups powdered sugar, gradually add 4 to 5 tablespoons brandy until mixture reaches spreadable consistency.
