Honey Barbecue Sauce
Makes 1 cup.

1/2 cup

minced onion
|
|
|
1 clove
|
minced garlic
|
|
1 Tbsp.
|
vegetable oil
|
|
1 can (8 oz.)
|
tomato sauce
|
|
1/2 cup
|
honey
|
|
2 Tbsp.
|
vinegar
|
|
2 Tbsp.
|
minced parsley
|
|
1 Tbsp.
|
Worcestershire
sauce
|
|
1/4 tsp.
|
pepper
|
|
1/8 tsp.
|
cayenne pepper
|
|
|
|
|
Sauté onion and garlic in oil until
softened. Add remaining ingredients and bring mixture to boil; reduce heat
and sinner 5 minutes.
Quick
Tip: Add 1/4 cup honey to 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce. Makes about
1-1/4 cups.
Tip:
Marinate beef, chicken or pork
in sauce. Brush during barbecuing or broiling.
